Nigam	Capt. (Dr.) Parag Nigam A Microbiologist and a Veterinarian by profession graduated from Kerala Agricultural University and worked extensively on bacterial and fungal diseases affecting various livestock species in the Himalayan region. He joined the Indian Army as a SSC Officer in the Remount & Veterinary Corps in 1997 and completed his terms of engagement in 2002. As a Veterinary Officer, he was involved in care and management of Army horses, mules and dogs deployed in forward areas. Subsequently, he was posted as Laboratory Officer in Central Military Veterinary Laboratory, Meerut Cantt and headed the Bacteriology and Serology division.
